Help Noorhan Save Her Family and Achieve Her Dream

My story
Hello,
My name is *Noorhan*, and I am a physical therapy student at the Islamic University of Gaza. I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor—not just for myself, but to be the support and hope for my family. Since October 7, that dream has been buried beneath the rubble of war.
Our home was bombed. My university was destroyed. The sponsor who supported my education was killed. I lost everything.
We are a family of ten, most of us children. My father suffers from severe mental illness and can’t even find a piece of bread to take his medicine. My mother was burned in the bombing. My little brother was injured during the attack. My younger sister is slowly losing her vision—I can’t even afford glasses to help her.
My baby sister *Dalia*, with her beautiful green eyes, was born into this war. She lives in a tent and knows nothing but fear and hunger. She cries for milk or a biscuit—things I can no longer provide.I used to be my family’s only hope. But now, I can’t pay for my education. I don’t even have a phone to attend my classes online.
Every day I watch my dreams crumble, and my family grow weaker from hunger and illness. Vegetables and fruit have become unreachable dreams. Bread is a blessing.
I wake up every day not from sleep, but from pain. I feel like I’m slowly losing my parents—and I can do nothing to stop it. I have no way to help them but with prayers and tears.
Please, I beg you—stand with me. Help me feed my family. Help me return to university and finish what I started.
Your support could mean everything. It could mean food, medicine, and survival—not just for me, but for my entire family.
*Thank you from the bottom of my heart,*

*A new heartfelt thank you and update from my heart to all of you*
I would firstly like to thank everyone who has supported my cause even with a little bit, because every contribution – even the small ones – has made a huge difference in my life and the life of my family. Your little means a lot to us.
*Painful and important update:*
My sister Malak is now in the hospital, about to give birth. A newborn who will come into this world without knowing anything about life, but will be born in the midst of war, hunger and fear… Like the little girl *Dalia*, pictured, who was born at the beginning of this disaster. Her father is a prisoner, and she doesn’t know the taste of fruits or vegetables. I’m always looking for milk for her, and I try hard to provide her with the most basic rights as a child.
We now live in a ruined house (see photo), barely habitable and threatening to fall on us at any moment as a result of the constant bombardment. I only dream of a tent to shelter us, where we can put our exhausted bodies from fear and fatigue.
*The impact of famine*
Unfortunately we are feeling the impacts in our family of the famine in Gaza. Recently, I had to seek medical help as I developed a rash and was dizzy. I discovered that due to my malnourishment, my immunity has been compromised and I have contracted chicken pox (see photo of my arm with the rash beginning a f
